Enough Musk Spam

For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.

No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.

Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.

Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.

Imagine unironically relying on the cockroaches and dead rats guy

On any Lemmy instance I would expect admins to axe threads/boards that made specific calls to harm specific people. You cannot advocate targeted violence in many countries

You can't do a lot of stuff in many countries, yet when it's any kind of social consciousness we actually suddenly do something about it

Meanwhile I can find sites on how to kidnap and rape children with less than 5m of seaeching

and those sites dont have addresses in NYC where you can easily arrest the owners/executives

Neither does any Lemmy instance I'm aware of

So that's good

Are you suggesting instance owners should get involved in criminal activity to see what happens?

Did you forget Kim Dotcom was arrested in NZ by the US FBI for violations of US laws? The jurisdiction for the laws of the USA are not limited to the borders of the USA.

Nothing, that's what'll happen

Did you forget Kim Dotcom was arrested in NZ by the US FBI for violations of US laws?

Do you think what he did is anything like a Lemmy instance?

Keep licking that boot, it's a good look for you .world people

If said instance gets the attention of the FBI or USSS for calls to violence I susoect they’ll he investigated.

Im a bootlicker because I recognize the legal risks associated with hosting calls to targeted violence? Do you not see how clownish that response you had is?

Totally going to happen to Lemmy when there are bigger sites doing it more openly

Im a bootlicker because I recognize the legal risks associated with hosting calls to targeted violence

No, because you think cowering despite not actually being in danger is the correct approach, it's very simple
