I'm on Voyager which is on mobile. The other person's spoiler worked, so my guess is that yours wasn't on a new line πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

SpoilersNo, the connection today was "starts of swimming strokes".

So they had breast[stroke], butter[fly], free[style], and back[stroke].

Although interestingly, all of these except butterfly are often shortened to the word as it appeared in the puzzle. Butterfly gets shortened to "fly".
