Oooooh my buddy has the 1290R. He let me borrow it for a weekend and I thought it was fast but it turns out I rode it in off-road mode the entire time so it wasn't even full power. I'd probably be dead otherwise!
Lucky you! That thing is a little ripper from what I've read. I also have a Yamaha FZ09, so that's where I get my torque kicks in! But the twin is no slouch either!
Next time you gotta put it in sport mode!
