I was using heated gloves and heated glove liners, but found that they use heat because they are poorly insulated to begin with. This included gloves worth a few hundred dollars.
Now i use pogies and more comfortable (thin) gloves, and can bike when it's -20C with the wind chill for a few hours.
Basic, cheap neoprene ones work ok, and the ones that are fluffy on the inside work even better.
