Habe mich aufgrund dieses Posts gefragt, ob wir eigentlich mit Metas Threads federieren.

Na ja, „auf Inhalte Zugreifen“. Technisch, ja, weil das gleiche zugrundeliegende Protokoll. Praktisch oder sinnvoll? Eher nicht. Zumal Threads völlig richtiger Weise von vielen Instanzen (egal ob nun Lemmy, Mastodon, oder sonstwas im Fediverse) blockiert wird.

Das Problem ist eher andersrum: Langfristig wird Threads, dank Meta im Hintergrund alle Facebook-, WhatsApp-, und Instagram-User als Threads-User führen, und die Leute werden es halt auch benutzen, und sich dran gewöhnen, und dann wird Meta nach und nach die Riemen enger schnallen.
