Pick up a history book. The '79 revolution liberated Iranians from death and oppression. The biggest threat to Iranians today comes from Israeli bombers supplied by American military industrialists.

Remove that Sword of Damocles from their heads and the country doesn't need to dedicate huge chunks of GDP to national defense. They'll be on par with Germany or Japan within a decade.

Don't mix being Muslim with being Islamist. The first is following Islam, the second is forcing Islam on everyone else.

Iran executed over 80 Iranians this year. IsraelI strikes in Iran killed 2 people last I checked.

Mr. Iranian Supreme Leader was exposed to other worldviews. The Muslims didn't arrange the revolution alone. They worked together with the local Marxists, afterwards, with some help from France, the Islamists stabbed the Marxists in the back, and turned on them too.
