At least the tribbles weren't carnivores, were they?
I think they only ate grain but - that would be pretty terrifying if they were!
It appears they did eat Kirk's chicken sandwich, and there looks to be a cannibal tribble in Star Trek Online. Better keep an eye on them to be safe.
