People would be sold them very cheaply and be required to subscribe to gain more than limited control of the screen output. Hackers will put gore and porn on them and turn people into pariahs. They'll BSOD in public, give you cancer, require an always-on connection, turn you into an advert (surely you could not object, if you are paid a fraction of a penny per eyeball), be made by slave labor, and end up in the sea.

And people will scoff at you for not liking it.
