The problem is we have more Jan 6th "restore democracy" people than we have anti-FPTP "establish democracy" people. Trump has made bad voting reform a major part of his platform.

You're not wrong, but the political climate will need to improve tremendously before McCarthyesque hearings can be a force for good.
