Reading is hard. I often want articles and PDFs for work to be read aloud while I'm doing something else. Anyone have any Android apps for this?

I read a lot with TTS, both for personal reading and work (grading papers). Moon+ Reader is the best app I've found. I use it for hours most days, so it's well worth the price tag for me. It handles PDFs, epubs, docx, and most other major document formats.

I rely on it so much I actually use Android emulation in Windows 11 to load student work when I'm grading essays on my desktop.

FBReader is almost as good, too, and it has a free TTS plugin that works with the free version, so you don't need to upgrade to the paid version (with TTS integrated).

On Windows, Foxit Reader is completely free and has decent TTS built in. It's not as easy to use, but it's free and works fine. (I just don't use it since so many students submit docx files it's easier to just use Moon+ Reader since it handles everything.)
