I went to drop the kids an hour and a half away in the car at their grandparents house for summer. Got half an hour away in the rain when the windscreen wipers stopped working, AGAIN!
We had to turn around and drive home, and get my 70 year old Dad to drive up for them instead.
So we are now child free for 6 weeks but also can't drive anywhere if it's raining.
6 weeks wean free! Oh sweet, sweet bliss. Hope you have a good one!
Thanks we fully intend to, got a couple of gigs, bbqs and parties planned in already. I'm expecting a bonus this week that will buy me a new Aliens game for my PC which should keep me occupied on the rainy days, and I'm learning how to "Speed Cube" speed solving Rubiks cubes and have a couple of fancy ones in the Postal System somewhere.

I don't know I've never played Xcom but it's called Aliens Dark Descent so if the one you're thinking of is that, then yes.
