I 100% agree. The times where I need to watch a race late I need to avoid all social media.
At the very least, don't post the names of the winners in the post title
I mean I often watch the race late. So I just avoid social media. Lemmy is already lacking interaction. I don’t think we should stifle it further…
For sure. Just omitting the name of the winner will work
I live on the west coast of the US. The race started at 6am local time. Given I’m usually not home until midnight on a Saturday night, there’s no way I’m watching it live. There are millions of us in the same boat.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills seeing the takes that are being upvoted. I feel like it is basic etiquette to not put spoilers in post titles. It sucks to just avoid this instance because this community can't be fucking bothered.
