I didn't downdoot it but it's pretty mean-spirited and probably doesn't reflect the majority of Trump supporters' finances.

From my perspective, it’s spot on accurate. I know people exactly like this.

I’ll add that I know this isn’t a blanket statement to define all conservatives, but I’ve never known one not to fit this description.

And as an aside, fuck them anyway. Not one of them in my eyes deserve pity or mercy when it comes to defining them by their actions.

They're being grifted from all sides and are too poorly educated to do anything about it. I think that's pitiable.

Hard disagree. It’s 2024. Factual information is readily available. They’re not forced to be grifted. They chose it.

You think it's not possible to be genuinely mistaken, with all this bullshit available? Harsh.

Oh I absolutely think it’s possible to be mistaken. We’re human. And flawed as a result.

I don’t however, think that one gets a pass to be so mistaken that they would part with $100K for a watch branded by a known traitor to their country.

There are facts and there are what people want to be facts. Both are readily available, and the differences between both are provenly vast.

So no, it’s inexcusable in this day and age to be so mistaken as to support MAGA in any way.

Stupid people shouldn't be coddled. Evolution is a thing and those lines should die off.
