Please considering not visiting social media if you haven't seen the race, you can't make the world spin around you.
Yeah. I had to wait a few hours before I could watch the pole yesterday and I basically had to not touch my phone at all during that time. I've spoiled it for my self before, but I have no one else to blame but me
Being located in Western Canada I just won't wake up at 6am everyday on the weekend to watch sessions. I often don't watch the sessions until Saturday and Sunday evenings and I rarely ever have things spoiled for me. I have Formula 1 instances blocked on my main Lemmy account and a specific account only subbed to F1 stuff so it's really easy to manage with Lemmy. All my browsers have stupid news feeds turned off and I have the advantage of not using other social media. Onus is definitely on the person trying to avoid spoilers.
"you can't make the world spin around you"
That's not what I am asking for. However, giving a little concideration for the many people unable to watch live doesn't take much effort.
It's your responsibility to avoid news and social media if you can't watch the race.
