Garmin chargers are hot garbage, even the official ones. It's always recommended to buy at least 2 at a time, since they break so quickly.
The puck style charges seem to be a little bit better, but I've had ones that only worked 1 time.
I've had mine for years, zero issues.
Ditto, but I don't exercise as much as they do so I assume its longevity is based off of how much you sweat.
I work outdoors, sweat/dirt/dust/rain/poison ivy/etc. Only thing I've had to replace is the watchband.
Got watch band material recommendations? I've been using the silicone one it came with, but it's getting worn out and doesn't breathe well. It also can get water under it when washing my hands, and then I have to take it off again just to dry both the area and it.
Sorry, but I'm going to have to disappoint you. I prefer the silicone due to the fact it can break away when snagged on stuff I don't wanna be attached to.
I never had water get under it when washing my hands, but do get water/sweat under it when working. Guess it just doesn't bother me.
Oh please do tell if you find anything. I've been having the same issues for years.
I've use metal watch bands for years instead of silicone. Current one was for my Pebble time I got from Fossil and it's still going strong.
I personally use a metal watch band for myself. I react poorly to p/leather and silicone and I've used a watch band I first got as a substitute for my Pebble Time. Might be from Fossil, but any old stainless steel metal band works for me.
