Absolute instant classic, this generations Iron Giant.

Love how they didn't fear away from themes of death on screen. Made all the scenes that much more powerful in ways you usually don't see in kids movies nowadays.

Curious if they'll follow the books and try making a 2 & 3 and they can stay on par with this.

I have no idea whether it's a valid point or not, but Finding Nemo was 21 years ago. Not sure that counts as "nowadays".

Onwards is from 2020 and is all about death. Coco is from 2017, I should really get around to seeing it.

And Soul, and big hero 6. Honestly Pixar had a stretch there where it seemed like they couldn't not make a movie about death.
