The transphobia stops now (lemmy.blahaj.zone)

This community is housed on an instance run by two trans women, focused on the needs of the queer and gender diverse community.

We allowed 196 here because we were promised the community is queer and trans inclusive.

If you're here it's because you're aggressively supportive of trans folk. Not middle of the ground, not "just asking questions".

If your response to that is, "yes, but..." then this isn't the instance for you, and by extension, this isn't the community for you.

tl;dr - Unambiguous support and inclusion, or fuck off somewhere else.

--

Edit - I changed the phrase "aggressive support to "unambiguous support", as there was some confusion over the intent behind my previous phrasing.

Without me knowing what's upsetting them, my answer is: grow up.

Welcome to the internet. Some people are nice. Many are assholes. Stop trying to make everyone appease you by force. Better learn how to control your feelings instead of controlling everyone out there.

You know what I do when someone is an asshole to me? I tell them to go f*** themselves and give them the middle finger, and... move on with my life. I don't cry and demand the world to change for me. No one cares how I feel, and no one should care how you feel either.

Someone is an asshole? Block them. That's what the function is for.

I constantly teach my children "you can't control what people say, but you can control how you feel".
