Inspired by r/nosleep, but without the "Everything here is true" and "You can't criticize the OP" rule. Post your scariest original short stories here.

The dramatic effect is witnessing the trespassing creep transform instantly into pink mist and various chunks of unidentified meat.
And then you find out it was the two neighbor kids in a coat.
implies no neighbor kids to murder
I don't really see isolated to mean completely isolated, more along the lines of "it's a couple miles into town and ten acres between me and the neighbors" but fair enough.
Your personal feeling of a definition of a word does not align with the reality of the actual definition of the word "isolated", so you can think what you want, just realize that it's wrong.
Autism, huh? Good luck with that.
Ideally the dramatic effect from the pumping action renders the need to use it unnecessary.
