Come on Bethesda... You should know by now that you can't stop the modding community. If anything this will just make it more popular. Also you didn't make the first DOOM you just have the rights so shut yer pie hole.

I also have no opinion on the mod.

I mean. This is probably just to cover their own asses. Since they are more likely to be held accountable or something that can be downloaded through their platform then a random mod of the internet.
