They're mostly on the lemmy.ml instance, yes. One or two are beehaw.
I have to be honest, if this issue isn't resolved, I will be less likely to want to continue to use lemmy.
I just tested this with both beehaw and lemmy.ml communities, and both worked. the lemmy.ml just took a few seconds.
not sure why you wouldn't be able to click on the subscribe pending button. are you using an app or just using a browser?
Like others, I've literally had 'subscription pending' for days now on a few communities. All of them from lemmy.ml. It doesn't matter how many times I click and re-click, or how long I wait, it still just says 'subscription pending.'
yeah, it appears to be happening again. pretty sure it's an .ml specific issue (.world too maybe?) as subscribing to other instances works fine, and other instances are having the same issues with .ml as well.
The weird thing is, from my POV, it behaves as if I'm subscribed, and shows up in my list of subscribed communities, aside from the 'subscription pending' button.
I'm using a browser, Vivaldi, which is chromium based. I tried in Chrome, too, and same problem. I'd like to PM an admin on lemmy.ml, but I can't seem to figure out how to do that. :/
Thank you for the help, btw. I appreciate it.
that's really strange. have you tried disabling any extensions you have enabled that may be interfering? not sure what else it could be.
you can try pm'ing them, but they I saw somewhere that they have huge backlogs of messages to go through and they are always busy working on the code itself too.
I've tried disabling my ad-blocker to see if that's the issue, but that didn't seem to have an affect. Thanks anyway though.
I'm having similar issues to OP (mostly lemmy.ml, although one lemmy.world too) and I'm using Firefox with just uBlock Origin enabled. Honestly it doesn't look to be a client issue since uBlock isn't blocking anything.
i would guess it's an issue with .ml/.world, since it appears to be working with other instances.
