But the bigger issue is the left and their ability or their desire to engage with anyone who’s not already in the bubble. And they get a big fat D minus on that. I mean, you see Kamala, I mean, I’m glad she’s doing well, I’m glad we have a real fight now for president. But [she] doesn’t talk to the press. You know? Would never go near me. Comedian Bill Maher

That always strikes me as odd. Has he ever done anything funny? He just seems like a pompous ass.

He has done standup for years, but I've never found him all that funny. He also commits what many other comics (and former comics like myself) consider a cardinal sin: he berates his audience when they don't laugh at his jokes. And not even in a funny way. He just says something like, "okay, fuck you," if the joke bombs.
