not sure that it will close, although that might be a short lived workaround, but i won't be using it anymore anyways - ~~i refuse to pay for an amputated version of reddit~~ EDIT: i'm probably wrong about having to pay, per the 100 requests/minute free tier limit, but the amputated version of reddit comment still stands.
i just donated to the dev and made my peace with it. i might use old.reddit a bit longer after july 1 but that's it
