Fair warning: servers can be a real hit or miss right now but I hope you'll be able to find a decent one so you can experience the actual game.

Would you mind making a short write up if it works for you? While I don't have any Apple hardware I'm kinda curious about how it performs with SC. I don't any grand tech breakdowns, just some general thoughts would be enough.
