You could install this.

https://repo.jellyfin.org/releases/server/windows/stable

Then go to settings /dashboard —> live tv Add this to Tuner Devices

https://i.mjh.nz/nz/raw-tv.m3u8

And this to TV Guide Tuner Devices

https://i.mjh.nz/nz/epg.xml

Should look like this

Then under home --> live tv --> Guides will appear and you can watch select to watch.

e.g. Te Reo Channel at the moment.

I don’t think this is sailing the seas let me know if it is.

Hey, if I try to watch Prime, I get video but no audio, is this because transcoding is not enabled? Any idea how to fix it please?

I’m unsure sorry. Try exiting and restarting ? I use kodi with very similar setup and no sound issues.

This was just easier to setup 😂

Yeah I've tried it both on windows desktop and on my linux nas and I get the same, just for Prime though, so it's almost like jellyfin can't understand the audio stream. I also run Kodi so I'll see if I can figure out a way to get this working on kodi, do you need a special addon or something?

While you can use the add-on @[email protected] suggested, you can also use Live IP TV, similar to this thread starter. You need to enable the PVR_IPTV_Simple_Client add-on Then, configure two settings:

Took me a couple of tries and swearing at Kodi as it's sometimes a very frustrating platform, but it works. I've got a Vero 4K and in my case I had to enable the add-on via My Addons, it was already installed, but disabled. Then from there I had to configure it. First I had to disable the "Migrated" configuration, no idea how it got there, but it seemed corrupted. Added a new config, configured the EPG XML URL and the M3U URL, then Home => Live TV, and ... still empty. Had to wait a bit, then reboot, and then it worked.

Agreed I’ve also used this method before I stumbled into slyguy. Benefit of slyguy is you can choose quality and it’s one click but your method is great too just has extra steps.

https://www.matthuisman.nz/2020/02/slyguy-kodi-repository.html install this its easy as pie if you are familiar then install the iptv addon from slyguy

The good part about this is if you have an android tv or apple tv, unsure on smart tv's? you can then download from the appstores the jellyfin app and connect to this as long as your pc is running to stream it to your tv.

This looks awesome.

Can you use this same service to get free to air channels from other countries too? The UK for example?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Yes I believe so might need a vpn if it’s ip locked.
