Independent has me flashing back to Requiem for a Dream.

Now that's a movie I don't need to see again.

It's a great movie though. It's so good at what it tries to archive that I also never want to see it again.

Yep, everyone should watch it once, but only when they're mentally strong. I watched it in the depths of depression. That... wasn't a good idea.

I watched it with my father. It was strange to see him also being deeply affected by it, not as if he would ever admit it.
