I wouldn't diagnose a millionaire megachurch priest who has bought a private jet with the money gained from fooling people with a mental illness, but the people who stand to gain nothing but have reached such a mental stunlock that they actively fight against the evidence that they're getting abused when it's presented to them are a different matter.
