Yep. And confirmed conservative, if recent headlines are to be trusted.
We pretending like every thread on Lemmy wasn’t filled with “wish he had better aim” sentiment?
In most the posts I saw, the comments wishing he had been killed were downvoted.
So yeah, some people made those comments, but most people didn't agree with them
That hasn't been my experience in any thread that I've seen.
I decided to look for examples of threads and most had neutral comments and some comments agreeing with my memory events.
This archived thread was the most blatant one I found.
Let’s see how this one does

I don’t have time to go look right now but when I went through the threads that was very much not the case.
When both teams suck, all you can do is root for injuries. But no, "I wish you'd just die already" is not a call to violence.
I remember you from the other thread. You’re a fan of feigning ignorance if it helps your point.
Read this thread. The people encouraging violence are upvoted far more and those discouraging it are downvoted.
It’s not just that thread either.
To continue a theme from our previous thread - you mind if we quit playing stupid?
The top five root comments have no such thing.
Maybe your app is displaying them differently, but when I looked the 3rd highest top-level comment wanted the guy to have better aim and it had 49 net upvotes

I'm archiving so you see the same layout I saw.
