A community to talk about the free online game Space Station 13.

I honestly just made this on a whim because I wanted a place to talk about the game on Lemmy. Doubt this will even be seen until I actually set up the community more lol. Just filling up space for now.

Follow all of the rules of Blahaj and all will be good.

This was from back earlier this year when Yogstation had a 3D test server up for a few months. Lavaland was a ton of fun to explore like this.

Oh sorry for not replying till now lol. New phone and I lost access to Lemmy for a bit!

Sadly this mode is no longer being worked on at Yogstation and got taken offline :(

They left all the code up on GitHub so if you know any other SS13 devs then they can adapt the code to their codebase probably.

I absolutely loved the 3D server and played as much as a could while recording everything.

Dang! Been in and out of ss13 for years. Used to play on Bay when it wasn't just mediocre milsim and God forbid I mention the Torch. Didn't know that this was even an effort but it makes me happy that it was.

Hey good news! I found the steps to run the server offline. I made a video over it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5Saj7A5_1M

It works great and all you gotta do is downgrade Byond to a version from a year ago and it runs. It will give you a link to the right version if it detects your version is too new. It takes mere minutes once you have everything installed from github.

Blahaj wasn't letting me sign in months to post it here. All good now tho! Hope it works well for you if you try.
