Does nobody get that the original isn't literally fine with burning alive? I've seen multiple "fixes" that are just needlessly spelling out the subtext.

Iirc the og one wasthe dog actually saying he's fine, even as his face melted away. Can't remember what the original joke was but i recall this comic (Gunshow) gets pretty dark as a rule. It wasn't until after it became a meme he updated it with the dog freaking the fuck out. Again this is just my old memory talking, i haven't read Gunshow in a long time so feel free to correct me
