It matters enough to significantly alter your local and all feeds, at least.

I am of course aware that different nationalities exist in Canada, they are still Canadian. That's a goofy point to make. Almost as goofy as telling a former resident of the USSR that they aren't just because they have a positive opinion of it.

Right. Cause no one has ever lied

But thanks foe letting me know about the local and all feeds being changed. Would explain all the obnoxious socialist stuff I keep seeing lol

Have a good one

Do you have evidence for the lie, or is it just vibes? Kinda rude and pointless otherwise.

You're seeing Socialist stuff not because of Lemmy.ca, but because of Lemmy. Lemmy was made by Communists, along Communist principles. You're seeing less Socialist material on Lemmy.ca.

I recommend finding a niche community focused on something you're interested in and making that your home. Local feeds are fun and unique, and All feeds show what you aren't regularly seeing.

Thanks for the information, just wish there was any social media without outrageous bias. Reddit and Twitter are equally unusable

I just want memes

Everything and everyone has bias. Lemmy was designed along Communist principles, so naturally it is going to have Communists.

If you just want memes, you can probably make a Lemm.ee account, subscribe to the various meme communities you enjoy across the fediverse alone, and scroll your subscribed feed by new so you see memes even from less active communities on smaller instances.
