Depending on your geography, you might feel very strongly that this is called Taylor ham

I first heard about pork roll at a Trenton Thunder game where it's a big deal. I ended up trying a pork roll sandwich and enjoyed it. It's one of those things I wouldn't eat all the time but I still get the sandwich every time I'm at a Thunder game (which is usually once a year).
