The prologue makes it sound as if the issue with the clashing mana of the eternal five only happened, because Ferdinand decked Rozemyne out with "god repellant" charms. Had he not done that, Mestionora would have been the only deity in Rozemyne's system, meaning no pain and such, but only the blocked memories.
