He buys a car in 2018 and says used it for 5 years. Then buy a car in 2020 and says used it for 3 years. And then buys another can in 2021.

The numbers just don't add up. Just like the way these numbers are represented in the title

Well it is possible that he has multiple cars and that they are all seeing use between him and his family. Hence him buying and driving a new car while still owning an old one could make sense
