I wonder about the 3rd dgree burns. Did they touch something metal or the melting asphalt or just from exposure?

i cant speak from their exact expierence but as a kid i got 2nd degree sunburns from being in a friends pool, well their grandparents pool, without having on proper sunscreen. so id imagine its possible if youre out there in it with no where to go or pushing a cart or just touching something metal without gloves.

oh I never thought of sunburns in regard to degrees. I recall I had a very bad one when I went to a water park and spend all day on a tube ride so my front side was constantly exposed but the water would splash around from various little slides so I had no idea how sunburned I was till I dried off. Swear I spent the whole night in a tub.

I spent a week laying on the floor dreading to move. I had blisters that would pop and reform. It sucked big time.

definitely worse than mine. I had a lot of skin peal and did not want to move at all but I was shy of actual blisters.
