Why was my post "Plans 50% For a Limited Time" post (https://lemmy.world/post/7756292) down voted so heavily without comment? It was an official news announcement on (a pretty good deal) from Standard Notes themselves.

I've never seen a reaction like this from any other lemmy community.

Personally I just have a markdown note in which every new heading is a new day. However, there are multiple ways how to approach this. I know of people who make a new folder/tag per year and create a new note with date and time within this year folder for every day. For subscription users there is also an implementation with a calendar view. Within this thread it is described how to enable this:

If I were to do a restore one day, would the backup contain the entire note history?

I have pro plan, so unlimited history, if it matters.

How long does it take after you submit your details to get access to the student discount? I can't remember the exact day I filled out the form but I think it was at least 4 days ago.

After seeing the video of veritasium on these topics, I wondered how standard notes was prepared for these innovations. - how is store now, decrypt later hindered (if that's possible) - is the current encryption algorithm resilient against quantum computing etc.

Does somebody have some expertise on this? It would also be great of standard notes themself put a blog post or video out on that topic.
