After spending a rather stupid amount of money on toys such as laser pens, electronic toys, wands, feathers, fishing line things, balls, puzzles my cat yearns for only one toy.... A stick.

The end that is supposed to be used is clearly not interesting enough no the HANDLE is what she wants to play with. Something about a plastic stick being scrapped across carpet sets all her neurons off.

Only other things she likes is carboard boxes and brown paper to shred and occasionally felt balls being rolled down the stairs.

Her other demands are being let into the conservatory and demanding i watch her poo.

I guess its easy to overthink a cats mind since they don't care if you spend hundreds in toys they gonna play with the stupidest items. Made the same mistake with food spending loads on different fancy wet foods to find out she just wanted to eat kibble.

Say meow to Tofu (hexbear.net)

This is my cat Tofu. About 2 yrs old now, he was thrown outside by the previous owners at some point, lost a few teeth on the streets. He's the gentlest creature I've ever met. Throws himself on the floor so you rub his belly. Lets you stroke his paws. Spends hours looking outside the window, recognizes his reflection in the mirror, and just learns learns learns as he goes. I took him in expecting nothing, but this cat has the best personality I could've ever imagined.

So I have this cat. She's indoor and yearns to murder small animals however I won't allow it.

Problem I'm having is she gets bored of toys really easily, if i find one she likes it will work for a few weeks then she never wants to touch it again. Like I could put the toy away in a drawer for months and bring it out and still no interest.

I've run out of ideas for things to keep her engaged any ideas to try that work well with cats?

Mr. Sofite's skin on his head and neck is all scabbed up and he keeps scratching himself and crying when he does it, it obviously itches and hurts him. Trying to figure out if there's something I can do to help him outside of the vet, since I'm not sure if my dad will pay for him to get seen or not.

At the age of about 18 months, my little rodent went away quietly in his sleep, as I have now learned cleaning his enclosure this morning. I know hamsters have such tragically short lifespans, yet it never makes the pain of saying goodbye any easier

I barely woke up an hour ago and don't really know what to say right now, but everyone here deserves to be in the know. You all have been so kind to Biggs and I. I only had him for a year and two whole days but they were special to me and special to a shocking amount of people on this website

Caspian (the one sitting) is the best cat ever, I literally owe my life to him. Elijah is nothing but murder and cuddles. (Before you @ me mouser's are absolutely necessary where I live and they both completely ignore birds)
