Just switched from a Raspberry pi 4 to a Orange pi zero 3 and the difference is significantly better. (lemmy.world)

Title. I'm rocking the exact same setup as it were on my Raspberry pi 4 (nextdns running on docker, a livestream playing 24/7 on ffplay, ufw, sway, alsa-utils) and the difference is night and day compared to the rpi 4 (temps at 52 degrees versus 74 on my rpi 4 and cpu usage at 0 ~1% on my opi zero 3 versus 6 ~10% on my rpi 4).

Why not Choose Orange Pi 5 Plus instead of Raspberry Pi 4B (www.orangepi.org)

If you're into Raspberry Pi 4B, why not weighing in on Orange Pi 5+ instead. For twice the price of Raspberry Pi 4B, we get thrice its power.

I am very satisfied which this board that I bought (2 units) about 2 months ago to add to my k8s Banana Pi M5 cluster. It's a relatively new board so expect to run into some problems as the software support is still in infancy. Not much complain as my k3s cluster is up and running. So far so good.
