MineClone2

I know there is a bug where sometimes leafs dont decay after tree is cut down, and since i cut and plant a lot of trees around my house, those leafs start to stack up prity quickly.. So my question is, is there indication that that bug will be resolved soon? I remember survivalcraft which is also writen in C had same isue and it was resolved after some time..

Looks like proper mineclone gameplay which i wanted for some time, but sadly wasnt able to find any, untill now..

Same story as for recovery compass.. Can i found these in survival? I have been mining but didnt come to cross on these, so want to know can they be found before start searching..

Can this item actyaly be found in normal survival world, or is it just in creative mode and waiting to be implemented..? Cant finde many info on internet since game isnt that popular as minecraft. 🤷‍♂️

Is cartography table not working in mineclone or i dont get how to use it..? Nothing is showing up when i right click on it..

I noticed in creative mode that there are eggs for spawning guardians and elder ones but there are no such mobs in ocean monuments in survival mode. So my question is: Is there proper ocean monument that looks like one in minecraft, and with guardians, or there is only this stracture that is much commoner, smaller and looks like hiv virus and has no guardiens..?

Hi folks, I'm thinking of streaming or making videos about Mineclone since I like it a lot. But I'm unsure if the textures I use will get me in hot water. I am helping with a Minecraft-like texture pack (NS-Textures) and using that normally since I dont like changes in visuals. I own Minecraft but mojang probably wont like if i stream (on twitch, youtube, peertube or whatever) or make videos with them. Anyone got takedowns or other experience with this? Legal perspective would be best but no illusion that a random lawyer is in this community.

Bonus Questions: How much would I have to alter the textures to be safe and would making them high res instead of minecrafts low res any difference?

Hi there! I‘m Haui and I recently discovered mineclone for me.

I‘ve been an og minecraft player since 2009 and a content creator on youtube and recently peertube.

I didnt like the direction Mojang and Microsoft are taking Minecraft so I voted with my feet and started to play through mineclone2. Its a little rough at the edges at times but I think it has great potential.

So much so that I started helping with the NS textures texture pack. I‘m also planning to look into modding to help out with intgrating more of the stuff I liked in MC.

Feel free to let me know if you would enjoy a lets play series on mineclone or streams.

Mineclone 2 is fantastic game, much better than i expected!

But im not able to find nether fortress in the nether. I found 2 stractures that look like part of the fortres, just short part of the wall..

So im wandering is there actyal fortress or where should i find netherward and blase rods? 🤔

Maybe I've just missed the info I'm looking for, but is there an option to have MineClone2 run above 60fps?

I'm playing using the community-built Minetest Flatpak on EndevourOS xfce, with an Nvidia card running the proprietary driver.

My monitor runs at 60Hz, so vsync being applied through something outside of the game itself could very well be it, after all.

A slightly delayed update, but MineClone2 had a big release recently! :)

It looks nice to see minecraft biomes with different map generators, but a lot of stuff is sadly missing still.

A huge generated multi-level dungeon in MineClone2 with a huge cave cutting through it. An amethystgeode was generated right next to it with two spawner rooms. The amethystgeode is cut open by the cave. One overlaps with the amethystgeode itself, which means they both cut through each other. The other one is directly below them. There is another big dungeon visible in the radar map not far from the current one.

This links to a pixelfed gallery with 9 screenshots. So it’s also a bit a test how good lemmy and pixelfed work together.

Did somebody get Everness working with MineClone2?

• Once installed, open and select the "Content" tab

Install MineClone2 from ContentDB

• Click "Browse Online Content" and filter by Games (select "Games" from the dropdown box)
• Find "MineClone2" (should be first on the list or on the first page)
• Click the [+] button next to MineClone2 and wait for download to finish
• Click "Back to Main Menu"

Create new world and play

• Click "Start Game" tab
• At the bottom click the MineClone2 icon (the 2 dirt with grass blocks)
• Click "New", give your world a name
• You can leave seed blank or put in a word of your choice
• Select your new world
• Click "Play Game" and enjoy!
