This is for strictly mildly interesting material. If it's too interesting, it doesn't belong. If it's not interesting, it doesn't belong.

This is obviously an objective criteria, so the mods are always right. Or maybe mildly right? Ahh.. what do we know?

Just post some stuff and don't spam.

While her two closest competitors John C. Calhoun (31) and John Adam’s (29) aren’t far off, it took them both two terms to reach those numbers.

The most any fellow one term VP had was 19, achieved by George M. Dallas (1845-1849).

It's still not earning you money to spend electricity because you still have to pay the transfer fee which is around 6 cents / kWh but it's pretty damn cheap nevertheless, mostly because of the excess in wind energy.

Last winter because of a mistake it dropped down to negative 50 cents / kWh for few hours, averaging negative 20 cents for the entire day. People were literally earning money by spending electricity. Some were running electric heaters outside in the middle of the winter.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a place that sold monk fish processed so it kind of shocked me to see this whole monkfish in a supermarket.

I'm guessing this is a rolling shutter effect since the lines were always horizontal wrt the screen but can't really explain it. Shutter speed is 1/1500s. The lines appear on other shutter speeds too but fade away as you approach 1s. They seemed most noticeable at factors of 1/50s or 1/750s. Here's a screen video: https://quickshare.samsungcloud.com/xc6hikOCglkz

He voiced the little boy in the famous 1969 Tootsie Pop commercial Mr. Owl "How Many Licks Does It Take?", often miscredited to fellow child actor Peter Robbins

Bonus “Mildly Interesting”: I don’t think I’ve ever seen the full version of the commercial before.

For reasons I have the same headset two times. The one I used just broke. This is the two headsets side by side. Used for roughly 7-8 years.

No caterpillers were harmed making this video. I'm assuming this is used as a scare tactic when they are threatened. Ice never seen this before and thought it was interesting.

I entered Experian into my calendar.

But I did NOT enter that weird emoji gibberish: dead roses, coffin, skull, cute puppies, happy faces, circus? What the heck is this

Saw this in Meijer today.

This tree face was on the other side of the yard.

We just lost two trees in the backyard because of a huge storm, so this feels like a good way to let our trees in the front yard know we still care.
