Still use and like my two LG devices, will be sad to see high-end audio and SD cards be even further reduced in mobile choices.

If Linux mobile devices software does well this year perhaps it'll be an OK time to make a switch, though I'll find something else to fill the audio niche.

Why not pick a $100 audio player like Hiby? Can drive bigger headphones if you are into that, and works over WiFi and BT as well. https://cdn-ak.f.st-hatena.com/images/fotolife/a/align_centre/20210126/20210126203447.png

But if you use low powered Chi-Fi IEMs, an Android phone with Hiby Player app will work just as well.
