Was mostly a reddit lurker, have tried to change that by hosting my own lemmy instance and actually get involved in something!
Lemmy
Everything about Lemmy; bugs, gripes, praises, and advocacy.

I find it really hard not to lurk. So much so that the one time I got banned from a subreddit, I immediately unsubscribed from it because I knew someday I'd see something I wanted to respond to there and not being able to would be super annoying.
Scraped my reddit account and here to post Manatee!
You’re right lemmy could take off provided people engage. The transition is primed for thanks to Twitter educating us about the fediverse.
Doing my part!
Oh, that’s interesting, the reply box is all the way down here. I’ll see what I can do here as far as activity goes, I don’t know what fediverse is but it sounds like something worth taking part in.
Hi?
Lemmy is the light for all the reddit lurkers! We will get there!
aye aye captain
I took a long break from Lemmy and I returned after the Reddit fiasco. I was active on mk.absturztau.be.
I agree. It already helps if you comment under stuff that you liked. Pushes the good content up to the top and it will be more visible for others.
It's lurkin time
Well, I already voted and commented more here then I ever did on Reddit, so that should work out :)
Is there any Android app that looks exactly like the website? I absolutely love the UI of the website but I prefer apps.
I wish signing up was easier for non technical users.
I understand the need for approving new sign ups but this can be off putting for new users.
I used to lurk a lot of subreddits but I guess that will be no longer. RIP Reddit. Long live Lemmy!
