I know there is a profile setting for this, but it hides all read posts, even in the profile. I couldn't go back to even posts I created to see if there are new comments. Rather, if we had a toggle on the front page, it could be temporarily toggled on and off easily.

I've been spoiled by my reddit 3rd party apps hiding posts I vote on. Then I could be like "I'm done, upvote!" And not have to see it again. Right now my subscribed is the same four posts first I'm every view except top of the day lol

Yep, if the toggle was exclusive to "all" and "subscribed", while leaving the profile page, and on a community page alone, I'd have that on all the time.

You can try to untick the show viewed post in the settings and save it. That way it would hide viewed posted
