So it’s been about decade since these came out and mine still does what it does happily predominantly just working as a nas. Was cleaning out dust the other day and it got me thinking..

Is there any projects out there to build boards which could host other things but still integrate with the hardware it comes with Ie hdd cable, power supply, power button etc.

I mean these days things are a lot more compact so I’d like to imagine if there was demand something could be made to put a micro board in and still be able to offer things this doesn’t.

Just a random thought I had.. it’s a custom proprietary case sadly so probably not.
