Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) What is it? Why do people use it? What's the movement about? In this video, we're going to explore some of the reasons to switch to free and open source software--outside of the obvious security, privacy, and cost benefits.

This video/guide will cover data ownership, community, and freedom from a central company or entity. These are all strong ideas of the FOSS movement; give the USER the control, not proprietary software from Apple, Google, or Microsoft. FOSS will also prevent security exploits by publicly allowing thousands of eyes to review the code, and people can check for improper data collection and/or backdoors.
