I feel like critics of safe supply never actually understand what the programs do. They seem to think it's some place where they hand out drugs like trick or treat bags.

The trick is if you assume it's strictly a moral failing you don't need to understand because you can just blame the addict.
That's not it. It's that they don't care, because they don't see drug users as people.
But what does safe supply do? Can or does it make the issue worse? I mean BC has implemented it and they seem to have more problems. Is Canada worse then other countries?
Conservative policy on this is ignorant, cruel and ineffective victim blaming. Same as always.
