MODERATORS

Free agency blitz is subsiding—short one Portland legend and Philly one-and-done—and summer league starts tomorrow.

What are your entirely too premature hot take predictions for mid-season playoff seeding based on the unfolding landscape? Harden and Lillard be damned.

Mine are:

West

  1. Nuggets
  2. Kings
  3. Lakers
  4. Suns
  5. Thunder
  6. Clippers
  7. Warriors
  8. Mavericks
  9. Grizzlies
  10. Jazz

East

  1. Knicks
  2. Celtics
  3. Heat
  4. Bucks
  5. Cavs
  6. Raptors
  7. Sixers
  8. Magic
  9. Nets
  10. Pacers

I actually don’t know that the Suns will seed that high. I like this though…the west is going to be wild, that’s for sure.

I’ll do top 3 cause I’m lazy

West

  1. Denver
  2. Suns
  3. Kings

East

  2. Celtics
  3. Cavs

I don’t think the Grizz will be out of the top 5 unless Rose gets injured and JJJ is out. Grizz should still be really good even without Ja for 25 games.

Lol, why we talking about Rose like it's 2010? Not even Thibs could find minutes for him last year.

I think last year was the year—now multiple teams making leaps where they will not + be hamstrung by lack of Ja. I think Thunder and Warriors will neck and neck them. Suns and Clippers have a lucky year regarding injuries finally and the West sees like 6 50 win teams or something.
