A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

I purposefully avoided the “main” lemmy instances because I thought it would be more in the “fediverse spirit” to contribute to a smaller community, I joined Lemmy.ca as a Canuck.
So far our instance is running good and we have plans ready to scale up when needed. Our standard of performance that we will strive to meet at all times is extremely fast.
Wooow haha. Happy to have this though, regardless of early hiccups. 10 years on Reddit has left a surprisingly sizable hole in my daily routine.
