With the twitter thing today, someone needs to make a mastodon bot that posts whenever the bungie servers go down.

There is a bot mirror account of BungieHelp for Mastodon at the very least! Though that doesn't help if they don't tweet about the server issues...
Or if the Twitter API gets fucked and the bot breaks
The Bungie help Twitter Feed section appears to still be working correctly. Works as a way to view their twitter posts without making a twitter account.
I’d ask if their Twitter account is saying anything about it but Twitter also appears to be screwed today.
Dumb question: is there an alternative means of getting updates from Bungie outside of Twitter?
I was literally just typing this out as a separate post to ask the same question. I’m on Mastodon and all I can find is people squatting on Bungie names or people reposting from Twitter.
Bluesky seems like the more direct Twitter alternative but it’s invite only.
This isn’t a Bungie exclusive problem. Companies need to figure out how to broadcast this kind stuff without Twitter. No offense to OP but coming here or any other forum type site to ask if the servers are down isn’t how it should be done.
Bungie needs to set up a status page for all their services if they don’t already.
Their official forums, but nothing there other than people saying it's down. Nothing on their Twitter.
You can use the server status page but idk how accurate or informative it is. Without the Twitter it's a crapshoot.
They are currently down, yeah :c
Down for me. About 01:45 eastern. Gave me a chance to come check out Lemmy. 😅
