Using the USB-C labeling without permission from the USB-IF, which would require the manufacturer to follow the standard to do so, is definitely breaking copyright law.

The labeling is "Type-C", with no symbols / logos as best I can tell (going off the video and product page). Deceptive / misleading.

I recall there being a clear symbol on the box, and it's possible they skirted the law by using an image and wording that resembled a genuine logo but was just close enough to fool most people.
