From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Does anyone else have this issue with the Flatpak version of Bitwarden.

Explanation: When you update anything in a login item, such as the username or password, and click Save it does not update. You must click Edit agin and then click Save again for it to update.

There is an issues on the Bitwarden GitHub.

Check out gold warden -- I will install it also. It's a general improvement on the official bitwarden desktop application.

I might be having this issue. When I update an item the UI doesn't get updated. However, if I refresh the UI by searching for something else, then go back to my updated item, I see the new values.

It's really annoying.

I installed via pacman.

There is an issue on this GitHub repo that was posted on November 16 https://github.com/bitwarden/clients/issues/12022. But really hope they fix it soon.

Yes, I do have the same issue. Though, I noticed it with secure notes since I usually only update those. It does actually save the first time, it is just the UI that doesn't update. You can verify it by clicking on another login and back to this one after the first save.

When I click the Copy icon, it copies the old password instead of the new one. But it also updates for me if i click on another item. Did this problem also occur for you with the latest update?

I am not sure. It has been like this for over a month.

This happens to me with the native Arch build as well. File -> Syncronize reloads the view and everything behaves normally after that.

I don't think I have this issue. Can't check atm though

Don't use that version. It's not maintained by Bitwarden, and it's wildly out of date

It is maintained by Bitwarden, it is up to date and it is official/verified:

Wow, they must have literally JUST taken this over, because as of December, it was a still an out of date package and not official from the company. Awesome.
